Description:

We are currently in search for full-time Senior/Staff Firmware validation engineer to join our excellent company in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area!
What you will be doing.
- Lead controller firmware validation scripting across sites (design, code, & execution of validation scripts)
- Validate firmware for expanders & intelligent storage controllers focusing on low-level firmware validation
- Effectively define validation strategy, plans , & cases based on OEM SOW & execute them based on strong understanding of the functions, features, and software/firmware stave of our controllers and expanders
- Research & implement fresh, innovative ways to provide meticulously validated code to customers
- Assist in defining new automated validation tools & work with internal teams to implement
- Assist in debugging problems found during test and help resolve them
- Create & establish validation requirements and communicate the current status and issues through our internal issue tracking system, conference calls, emails & presentations to internal & external customers.
- Write technical papers & training procedures
What you need to work here.
- Bachelors or Masters in EE, CE or CS
- 7+ years of experience in the storage industry
- Proven track record of validating and delivering high quality code to customers
- Validation/development experience with system, software, hardware, and/or protocol level.
- Strong technical communications and relationship skills
- Track record of completing high quality technical projects on time
- Prior experience with C/C++ or Perl scripting languages is preferred
- Automated Test Tool Development experience is preferred
- Familiarity with SDLC & standard validation practices is desired
- Experience with SAS/SCSI/SATA/PCIe protocols, embedded processors, RAID stack, SAN, multi-pathing, Unix/Linux, and/or protocol analyzers/jammer is desired
